Alvin Acquaah-Harrison

Co-Founder

Alvin Acquaah-Harrison is the co-founder of True Evolution Hoops, where he oversees the platform’s growth, media direction, and U SPORTS basketball coverage across Canada. Alongside his work in sports media, Alvin is a law student at Queen’s University and serves as a Senior Submissions Editor for the Queen’s Law Journal. His interests are centered around sports, media, and entertainment.

Amontae James

Co-Founder

Amontae James is the co-founder of True Evolution Hoops and brings a strong understanding of the game through his background in basketball media and player evaluation. He also works as an intern with Slan Sports, where he has gained experience within the sports representation industry.

Hana Kim

Canada West Partner

Hana is dedicated to innovating the spread of digital and creative content in the BC sports scene. With her U Sports background of working with UBC Men’s Basketball, UBC Football, UVIC Men’s Basketball as their “media guy” and in the professional sports scene working as one of the media members for the Vancouver Bandits of the CEBL and Canadian Football League (2024), Hana is committed to bridging the sports to the fans through media. Currently, Hana is expanding horizons in the global sports market (specifically Asia) working with athletes to build their brands. She is also the founder of Kore Sports Agency, where she represent professional athletes seeking opportunities in the Asia market.
