(G) Yohann Sam – Windsor Lancers

Yohann is part of our Team of the Week for the second consecutive week. Sam had a monster game against the University of Toronto Varsity Blues, putting up 32 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 assists while shooting 5/7 from the 3-point line. The third-year forward continues to get better as the season progresses.

(G) Aaron Rhooms – TMU Bold

Aaron Rhooms has emerged as one of the premier players in the OUA over the past few years, and he proved his prowess yet again this week with a series of impressive performances. Against a competitive Western team, he delivered an outstanding 23 points and secured 10 rebounds. He followed that up with an even more remarkable game against Windsor, posting 26 points and grabbing 8 rebounds while shooting a remarkable 70%
from the field. As TMU strives to maintain their momentum with a strong 6-1 record, we anticipate a strong season ahead for the talented guard.

(F) Alvin Icyogre – Nipissing Lakers

Alvin Icyogre, the 6’8 forward out of Nipissing had two dominant performances this past week against Mcmaster and York culminating in a 1-1 record. He averaged 30 points and 12 rebounds in these games. Icyogre leads the OUA in points as well as leads his team in rebounds. He has proven this past week he has the ability to be an offensive juggernaut on the court, being a key contributor to the Lakers offense as well a pivotal point in their interior defense.

(F) Justin Ndjock-Tadjore – Ottawa GeeGees

Justin Ndjock-Tadjore was a standout player this past week in two games against Brock and Algoma. Averaging 18.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4 assists. Tadjore makes his presence felt as a player who has the ability to contribute to the game in every way to help his team secure a win. Tadjore, with his ability to be a do it all player is definitely one to look out for in future games for the Gee Gees.

(F) Augustas Brazdeikis – Carleton Ravens

Augustas makes an appearance on the “Team of the Week” for the second time this week. He has been instrumental in Carleton’s undefeated start to the season. Bradzeikis is in the Top 10 for both scoring and rebounding in the conference.
