(G) Zubair Seyed – Ontario Tech

This past week, Zubair Seyed of Ontario Tech showed off his scoring and playmaking ability in a major way. Seyed averaged 17.5 points and
6 rebounds, including a standout performance where he hit a game-winning buzzer-beating layup against the nationally ranked Carleton Ravens. Seyed’s performance in that game was remarkable, putting up 21 points and proving he’s capable of stepping up when it matters most. While the second half of the season has been a bit more challenging after an impressive start, the win over Carleton may be the momentum Ontario Tech needs as they look to make a push for the playoffs.

(G) Aaron Rhooms – TMU

Aaron Rhooms of TMU has been a standout performer all season, and his performance last week only reinforces his status as the OUA’s leading scorer. Rhooms averaged 26.5 points and 7.5 rebounds over the week, showcasing his offensive dominance. Despite his incredible individual effort, TMU split their week with a win against Toronto and a disappointing loss to McMaster. While Rhooms continues to carry the offensive load for TMU, the team will need more contributions from the rest of the roster if they are to find success in the second half of the season and make a deep playoff push.

(G) Davante Hackett – Brock

Davante Hackett of Brock continues to dominate in the second half of the season, earning a spot on the Team of the Week for the second consecutive week. Over the past week, Hackett posted 19 points and 6.5 rebounds, showing off his sharpshooting skills by going 8-for-16 from beyond the arc across two games. His performance helped Brock split their games against U SPORTS-ranked Lakehead, with each team taking a win. Hackett’s ability to consistently contribute offensively makes him a key component for Brock, and he continues to guide his team on a promising run as they look to build momentum.

(F) Justin Ndjock-Tadjore – Ottawa

Justin Ndjock-Tradjore has been an integral part of Ottawa’s success this season, contributing on both ends of the floor. His impact goes beyond the stat sheet, Ottawa is simply not 3rd in the nation without JNT. This past week, Ndjock-Tradjore put up 17 points and 8 rebounds in a dominant 18-point win over Ontario Tech, further solidifying his importance to Ottawa’s lineup. Whether it’s on defense or offense, Ndjock-Tradjore continues to play a crucial role in his team’s success as they continue their strong campaign this season.

(F) Liam Rietschin – York

Liam Rietschin of York makes his first appearance on the Team of the Week after a strong performance last week, averaging 19.5 points and 7 rebounds across two games. Rietschin has been a bright spot in what has been a challenging season for York, showing that he can be relied upon to lead the team offensively. Rietschin posted a monster stat line of 18 points and 13 rebounds against McMaster, demonstrating his ability to dominate on both sides of the floor. Rietschin’s continued improvement is a promising sign for York as they aim to finish the season strong
